1(a)

An AI-designed experiment uses photons of wavelength 650 nm. Calculate the energy of one photon. Use h = 6.63 x 10^-34 J s and c = 3.00 x 10^8 m s^-1.

1(b)

The proposed arrangement predicts that two detectors should click together more often than expected by chance. The software counts a coincidence when both detectors click within the same fixed time window. Researchers estimate accidental coincidences by shifting one detector's recorded times so clicks from the same event cannot match. They can also block the proposed photon pathway. Describe three checks or comparisons needed for a valid test of the prediction.
