A circuit diagram is a measurement plan
Correct meter placement determines which current or potential difference is measured. Circuit symbols communicate that plan independently of the physical wire layout.
Follow the reasoning
- Identify the component being investigated.
- Place the ammeter in its current path and the voltmeter across it.
- Choose suitable ranges and record units with readings.
