KNOW THE GAME

Revise physics together, one card at a time

Choose OCR A or AQA AS and A Level Physics, AQA GCSE Physics or Combined Science at Foundation or Higher tier, or AP Physics 1. Pick topics or a mixed deck, then invite friends with your room link, code or QR code.

Race, team up or beat the machine

Play a two-player duel, compete in up to four teams of two, work together against the clock, or challenge a programmed machine opponent. Everyone answers simultaneously. Every match needs at least two connected human players.

Collect the most cards

Correct answers collect cards. Wrong answers and skips return the card and give a five-second cooldown. Choose identical decks or one finite shared random deck, with 20–200 cards and a two–twenty minute timer. Review the answers and explanations after the round.

Can I play without an account?

Yes. PUK Up is free and works in your browser. Choose a generated physics alias and invite another player. Your alias and results stay with this browser; clearing cookies creates a new identity.

What if nobody else is online?

Quick match waits for another human studying the same course. You can share a room invitation or browse public rooms while arranging a game. A machine opponent still needs a pair of human players.

Do I need a calculator?

Some physics questions involve calculations, so have a calculator and paper ready. You can answer with the buttons or keys 1–5. Sound is optional and reduced-motion preferences are supported.
